I don't usually find the items that I find here near me like sun dresses, children's wear, toys other miscellaneous items like toothpaste, toothbrush and such.

Back in the 80's as a kid ,my mother used to shop at CH Martins, till this date the store still there,you actually find home goods of any kind at a reasonable price.

Great bargains. But sizes of clothes do not match thier tags and most fit smaller sizes. Also irregular sizes mixed in with paraded items like underwear.

I've been going to this place for decades with my parents and then as a grown up for all sorts of things. The Five and Dime might not be around anymore but this place models itself after the spirit of the former. It is a universe of doodads for any project or need, just easier on the pockets. Also you can find high quality merchandise; it's simply full of surprises. Happy hunting! 😉!

Been going here since i was a little girl with my mother. The items they have is reasonably priced and some things is good quality. You need to give them your bag when you get there and they give you a number or tag to retrieve when you are finished. They do not sinlge anyone out this happens to everyone! They are helpful and have manners. Its clean and organized to an extent. There 2 levels. No elevator. Its a good store to go to when your in a crunch!

It is the best store in the Jersey City Square area. The prices are amazing, The clothes are constantly updated, and resonable prices.
